EGGS!

Today was a momentous day - I found these two beautiful eggs in the coop! They're small, about 3/4 of the size of a "normal" grocery store egg. I'm not sure who layed them - probably one of the Sussex..... I'm guessing she layed one yesterday and I missed it somehow, and then another this morning. They were on the floor in the coop, in a little nest that she made. I don't think any of them have discovered the laying boxes yet, I'll have to put some fake eggs or golf balls in them to lure them in......

It's so awesome to finally have some payoff from all this chicken craziness!
